Jawaharlal Nehru once said “The children of today will make the India of tomorrow”.
Children’s Day is celebrated across India on November 14, the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru fondly called Chacha Nehru. He often cited that children should always be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow .Children’s day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour in Jaipuriar School, Sanpada on the 14 th November 2017. Teachers spoke eloquently about the importance of this day. They recalled the golden days of Chacha Nehru in whose memory we celebrate Children’s day. The Principal Mrs Aarti Singh wished the children on the occasion and reminded them of their duties and responsibilities. The teachers presented a colourful programme with dance performances, a musical skit and a musical show under the guidance of coordinators Mrs Hema Arora and Mrs. Mehrunisha Kapadia.. The teachers enthralled the children with the story time. A magic show was also put up by the renowned magician to make the day all the more memorable. The students were treated with chocolates.
